Week 85: Final big mission holiday! And general conference!

 Happy Easter everyone!!

This week went by fast because of a great weekend! We had a zone meeting friday, then a worldwide conference called general conference. Our leaders speak to all and give messages of hope, comfort and peace! It was soooo good and it's so long so it consumed the whole weekend which is great as missionaries. Some elders drove up from Calgary and we pulled couches into a room and chilled. Lots of notes and insights it was a fun weekend. It's all kind of a blur though as I havnt reviewed anything.

Other than that, not a ton happened this week! We hung out in a town called Crossfield for a bit, and got to drive to the temple to pick something up! And then zoom calls and a couple walks where we casually tried to meet new people and less than casually got rejected.

Easter definitely isnt as big as christmas in celebration or big deals for society, but it is for why we celebrate. I used to think about bunnies and chocolate for Easter. Never have I appreciate easter so much as this year, truly now knowing more about Christ and knowing Christ. Easter is about Christ and His sacrifice. Easter is amazing. The most important and significant event in history. He suffered, He died, He left the tomb behind. He is risen. He lives today. We have our own sufferings. We too can leave our tombs behind. Our trials, problems, mistakes. Because of Him! He lives today to guide us and help us. He came to earth and lived then for us and lives today for us too.

Have a great start of April!
