WEEK 62: Shots fired

 Hello!

So within a week more snow has come, and now all is gone. They have warm winds, chinooks (also happens to be the name of one of the wards we cover), so winter is apparently really up and down  here temperature wise!

Saturday was a noteworthy day. I zoomed into Terehau's baptism (mami Anna's granddaughter)! She was finally baptized! She was meant to be baptized in March after wilk and I found her and started teaching her but w covid wasnt able to. So after much time she was baptized! Wilk and I zoomed in, which was awesome and were able to watch. The elder that baptized her was the guy I met in the Mtc and he served in my home ward a year ago. So such a cool connection. The baptism was amazing and I felt so so happy for her. Pure joy through the gospel. It was such a sweet experience. And so cool to finally see her take that step. I miss tahiti a lot.

After the baptism on zoom we headed to a young men's activity. Went to a farm of a rich member who had a plane hangar, shot a giant pumpkin cannon and went skeet shooting (the ym not me ;) maybe). There was a big fire too and it was lit. The ym in our wards are so awesome.

So terehau is baptized, mami anna is funny as ever and another great week feeling happiness through christ. Lessons have been great lately and I've been feeling the spirit a lot.

Hope everyone has a great week!
Love,
Elder Fiore

The Homecoming!

To say we were excited is an understatement! I spoke with Zach that morning before he left: We were all anxiously awaiting at the airport! ...
