WEEK 61: Toboganning before Halloween

 Why hello

Today is my 14 month mark. Saying that to members it doesn't sound real. It's insane it's been that long. We went tobogganing today and it was super fun. A member gave us like 10 so we went with a huge group. Not a pday activity I expected this time last year when i first arrived in Tahiti or when i was called there haha.

The first week with elder weaver was a pretty good one. Every day we got home and I was pleased with the day's activities.

Its fun going in homes finally and introducing him to members. We've had some great appointments: Got a huge list of people to visit from a couple (guy was from Scotland and loved soccer), Watched inspirational messages with brother pinchak, Visited some of my favourite families and just chatted- with potential ppl to teach present, Met someone my grandma knows from Montreal and got lunch with him, Went to a fancy restaurant with a couple whose son just left on a mission, had lessons w all my fav ppl, and then visited some other young couples and old ppl. So yea, pretty sweet.

We started teaching 2 new people which is awesome especially since in the last like 6 weeks we hadnt started w anyone new. Both are pretty interested. One is from Japan and is in high school (Japanese exchange student), and one is from Eritrea (near Ethiopia). Teaching gets me so hyped so I was so happy and we had some really good lessons.

It also snowed a bunch and has a couple times so it feels like christmas lol. I like the vibe but forget its only october :/

We have been keeping busy as always and so that's such a blessing!! Its been fun too!

Have a great week everyone!!

Love,

To say we were excited is an understatement! I spoke with Zach that morning before he left: We were all anxiously awaiting at the airport! ...
