Week 49: Transfer Ups and Downs

 Hi everyone!

This week was pretty chill other than transfers. Those were so hyped up, caused some nerves and president even played with our minds dropping hints and stuff. We did so much speculating and contacting ppl who had spoilers and stuff. It was insane. Such a rollercoaster of emotions and ideas. I stayed with Moses, but we gained another ward. Our district stayed the same which is hype other than moffitt going home which was sad and gaining two sick elders, one of which is Canadian. It is gonna be a great transfer honestly I'm so excited.

We had some district fun this week in hiking, eating poutine, playing games, shopping twice, crepe breakfast, some lunches, a birthday party and some goodbye stuff. It's been super fun and I love the missionaries here a lot. I also used my new found calligraphy skill on two cards I made.

One eventful moment yesterday was getting a call from a service missionary everyone here is tight with that his car broke down on the busiest street in town. So we headed over as fast as possible and pushed him across three lanes of traffic and down a road  it was shockingly easy to push a truck.

Moses also gave me a haircut and we touched up thrice.

The more I do member visits, the more people say how much they appreciate it and love is, the more i see how important this super fun aspect of misisonary work is. Weve been able to help and connect with so many people in our ward and it makes me so happy! We can all reach out to each other a little more, especially at this potentially lonely time with covid  I've seen the impact its had on people!

Hope everyone has a great week! Cant believe august is coming already!

Love,

Elder Fiore

The Homecoming!

To say we were excited is an understatement! I spoke with Zach that morning before he left: We were all anxiously awaiting at the airport! ...
