Good morning!!
Thanks for still tuning in! And welcome to another not insanely interesting, but good week!
We hit 20 degrees here Saturday then had snow Sunday so it has been a rollercoaster weather wise. With warm weather comes outdoor visits which has been awesome! We had some great backyard visits and fun. Only con is burgers 5 days in a row. They were good though it's just gonna be a long barbeque season. Hopefully the excitement calms.
The best part of the week happened right at the start. Pros and cons to that. Emily got baptized!! Emily is a little girl I've been teaching for a few months, really the only person we've been consistently teaching lol. She's come a long way and I've seen her testimony grow a ton it's been cool. The baptism was a little all over the place though honestly. Bishop was there but wouldn't do anything or take the lead so I last minute did everything he was meant to do. Also Emily's little brother dropped some toys in the font which was funny. But overall, Emily and her mom were happy and felt the spirit, and so was I, so that's what matters!!
Overall the week has been good. And training has been a lot better this week as Elder Northcott gets more settled and we become better friends.
I've been thinking, as we walk outside lowkey trying to talk to people, that we have to go out and find prepared people to hear our message, but also prepared people will find us as we do our part. They are seeking us too. And I can liken that to opportunity in general. We have to go out and find opportunities prepared for us, but as we do that we can trust that Heavenly Father will help prepared opportunity find us too ! So as we do our part we have multiple factors helping!
Go and find great opportunities that will help you now and in the future and they'll find you too ;). I'll do that with people trying to learn the gospel in addition!
Love,
Elder Fiore
