Week 51: 10s the Magic Number

\

 Hello!!!

Another week out here in Lethbridge. We had Xanders baptism which was super fun. Him and his mom both cried. It was weird with covid restrictions as there was a max of 10 people (church rules not alberta, it's silly). It was annoying for inviting, ward support and just awkwardness, but still nice of course. Everyone was just happy. Xander bore his testimony which was powerful as well. He's so hype.

We went to IHOP with an old lady for brunch. It wasn't actually that good food wise. But it was the first time in a legit restaurant for like a year I think. Tahiti+covid will do that. It was a fun morning. She also asked the waitress if she wanted to go to church with us. She's a savage.

We did some raspberry picking as service, had an in person zone conference which was surprisingly good, and also a thick meeting with an area 70 (decently high up in the church).

We taught Xander and Micheal's older sister what moses and I both felt was a super good super spiritual lesson. We had just assumed we'd begin teaching her consistently and that she'd progress like her brothers, probably too confidently, in our heads.  We ended inviting her to read the book of mormon and she just slowly shook her head. She said no to reading and to meeting again. We were shook. First time that has happened after a good lesson honestly. I guess it kinda taught me that some people just simply aren't ready for whatever reasons. We can do all we can, I know it brings joy, but it's ultimately each individual choice to accept our message . We were shocked but needed that lesson and humbling.

Have a great week! And thanks for coming along my adventure through words!

Love,

Elder Fiore

The Homecoming!

To say we were excited is an understatement! I spoke with Zach that morning before he left: We were all anxiously awaiting at the airport! ...
