Week 96: Bible bash and evil spirit Ws

 Hello everyone!!!

Another nice warm summer day here in Alberta. I think we are finally over winter here. Knock on wood.

I'll be honest home has been a bit distracting but we are still working. Just slightly distracted at times.

We had some good street contacting times, once with a dog of a member we took for some service and conversation starters. I also went out and about with someone I knew from home and ylc (not well but we knew eachother a bit ) so that was super fun. Elder Mazey.  We met a nice Ukrainian family, a mean couple and a mean Russian family!! Its always fun when one person in the family is so rude and then someone else they're with is like woah chill they're just teenagers and look sad for us. Both mean people yesterday their significant other looked shocked at their reaction and told them to take it easy. I just imagine them getting in a fight after we leave lol.

We also had some nice Bible bashes, one over the phone and id say I destroyed him. We also met with a guy who felt he was being haunted and wanted us to cast the spirit out. He had a whole back story and a bunch of reasons why he thought he has evil spirits . We explained how it may be that, may be other dark feelings, but one thing fir sure is that light beats that and being filled w light will. So we prayed with him and are gonna start meeting with him. He left the church 25 years ago so hopefully this is a chance for him to come back!

Not much else super interesting happened. Father day was fun and calling home was nice! Happy belated fathers day. I'm so grateful to have so many examples and father roles in my life and two main ones. And then of course heavenly father!

Hope everyone has a fantastic week!!

Love,

The Homecoming!

To say we were excited is an understatement! I spoke with Zach that morning before he left: We were all anxiously awaiting at the airport! ...
