Another 6 weeks in lethbridge! Gonna be staying my 5th transfer here. If it wasnt for christmas I'd be super sad about staying, but I'm chill to be in a place where I'm super comfortable for the holidays with members and missionaries I love. Three of my favourite missionaries are leaving though which I was devastated by. 2 were unexpected. These transfers make 0 sense, it's so hard to trust president. There is so much I disagree with. Also, I'm not thrilled about staying another with my companion, but I was half expecting it so I was prepared. He got a new game I like so that's okay.
This week we went to the movie theater with our ward for the ward christmas party. Like 20 member visits in one! We watched a filmed musical (filmed this year due to covid) called the forgotten carol and it was actually surprisingly good. And was very missionary appropriate and spiritual. I left feeling very spiritually fulfilled and good. That same Saturday we had a super busy soup kitchen so it was overall a good and chill day!
To obey restrictions, we have been eating in our car trunks with all our cars trunks pointed at eachother. It's been fun and a good way around all this stuff.
This week was another week of cancellations and being stood up. So days werent too satisfying at the end. But I've been working on my mindset a lot and trying to appreciate everyday as it's my only mission right now, so the week actually went well! Despite not actually being great.
I'm also very happy its December. Elfie muhu muhu is here, and now that I know I'm staying I can decorate the apartment and have started a little already. We are buying more stuff today. Also my mom got me a lego advent calender and a hype spiritual thing w a daily christ scripture so that's so fun every morning! So fun. Light the world also started so that always brightens the day!
This christmas season is a time where we can all light the world a little bit more. I feel like it's especially dark right now with everything going on, so even those little acts of service help all the more.
Have a great start to December! I'm glad I'm never gonna have another novemeber day on my mission haha. Novemeber sucks.
